The Tremezzo

A bracelet that starts where the case ends, with no seam to mark the difference.

The 40mm case is an octagon with its corners softened, and the steel bracelet grows straight out of it — no lugs, no gap, one line from wrist to dial. The dial itself is cut with fine horizontal grooves that shift as your arm moves: near-solid in shadow, ridged and bright under a lamp. A grained bezel sits against polished links, so the watch reads as two finishes meeting rather than one slab of steel.

Why the Grooves Matter

A flat dial gives you one color all day. A grooved one gives you two dozen. Each ridge catches light from a slightly different angle, so the black reads charcoal at a desk, near-silver by a window, and almost blue outdoors. It is the oldest trick in dial design and still the most convincing.

The integrated bracelet does the structural half of the job. Because there are no lugs, the case cannot look perched on a strap — it sits low and wide, and the 10mm thickness slides under a shirt cuff without a fight.

How to Wear It

This is the one to reach for when the day has no dress code. Steel on steel handles a linen shirt in July and a navy blazer in November without changing register. Black is the safe answer, green the interesting one, white the summer one.
